Untuk mendisable autorun/autoplay cd/dvd dan juga removable media seperti flashdisk, eksternal harddisk, memory card dll maka perlu dilakukan langkah-langkah seperti dibawah:

1: Copy dan kemudian paste script yang ada dibawah ini kedalam notepad. 

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoDriveTypeAutoRun"=dword:000000b5

2: Simpan sebagai file registry dengan ekstension .reg (.reg)

3: Kemudian jalankan file .reg yang telah dibuat dan selanjutnya restart komputer.
